The Mysterious Magic of Whales

Note: These courses are open to ANYBODY with an interest in whales and dolphins and the desire to learn about their lives.

Details

Duration: 12 days (Sunday to Friday)

Language: English

Eligibility: There are no special skills needed apart from basic knowledge of the English language and a minimum of 16 years of age to take part in the two-week courses.

Seasickness: Won't happen as we work in protected waters.

Group 2: September 23 - October 5

Fee

Swiss francs 1600.-- *

It is planned to carry out next year's research from the picturesque village Tadoussac overlooking the Estuary and Fjord. ORES is searching for an affordable accommodation right now. But be prepared that the course fee might have to be adjusted. Details will follow in January 2012.

The fee includes all costs related to the project such as use of inflatable boats, technical equipment, a personal exposure floatation suit, all transportation on land and water during the project, a visit to a whale museum, lectures, and workshops with PowerPoint and video presentations as well as a comprehensive preparation booklet in English.

In the year of participation, participants will be members of the Foundation and receive the biannually published ORES-Newsletters.

As spaces are limited to six participants we strongly recommend early enrollment.
